In this video, M. R. Hari updates viewers on the developments and experiments in the fish tank surrounding his house at Puliyarakonam, and shares some of his discoveries. Mangrove plants seem to be taking to fresh water life on the floating islands in the tank; the leaves of a certain aquatic plant can be a substitute for plantain leaves and used to serve food in; pearl spot fish appear to be thriving in the presence of customized shelter homes made of bamboo culms; and raising fish is very effective as stress-busters. Most importantly, with sufficient interest and care, it is possible to harvest fish on a daily basis all the year round.
