In this video, M. R. Hari talks about the importance of putting up Miyawaki forests in a thoroughlyscientific manner. If we compromise on the principles set forth by Prof. Miyawaki in order to cutcosts, the forest will not be a proper one. It will not be able to sustain the food web. The produce weget from such a forest will not be rich in nutrients. Most people fear that insects will destroy the forestcompletely. Such a fear is unfounded because the prey-predator chain will regulate the number ofinsects, and keep the forest in a healthy condition.
