In this video, M. R. Hari takes us to a Miyawaki forest that had been set up near a snake grove in Thiruvalla two years back. The intention was to create an extension of the snake grove and thus increase greenery in the area. But the growth is less than expected. On examination, Hari identifies lack of adequate sunlight, planting of less than the usual number of saplings in the Miyawaki forest, and poor maintenance as the main causes of the lack of density.
