In this video, M. R. Hari shows the exceptional growth recorded by the saplings in the first nine months of the Miyawaki forest planted in Chalai Government School in Thiruvananthapuram. It has also created an ecosystem with birds, butterflies and small creatures putting up their appearance and staying put. The main reasons for the tremendous growth can be attributed to the rich layer of mulch, the surrounding wall (that prevents people from dumping waste materials inside), and the support system of wire mesh erected six-and-a-half feet above the ground, in order to prevent the trees from toppling over one another.
