In this video, M. R. Hari introduces a climber named Calycopteris floribunda (commonly known as Paper flower climber). Most people see creepers and climbers as a nuisance, and cut them down. But that is far from the truth. They put out flowers in profusion, attract a lot of butterflies and insects, and thus help create an ecosystem. Trained over trellises or planted close to houses, their canopies provide shade and bring down atmospheric heat too.
