In this video, M. R. Hari introduces Mr Fakruddin Ali Ahmed from Thrikkunnapuzha, who despitehaving a post-graduate degree in Economics, and landing a job in state government service, decided toturn to fish farming and made a huge success of it. Undaunted by failures in the initial stages of hisbusiness, he gathered knowledge from successful and unsuccessful farmers, and moved forward. Heis not averse to hard manual work. More interestingly, he is a living example of dignity of labour, andhas progressive concepts about freedom and patriotism that are related to his occupation and fellow-citizens.
