Hari introduces Mr Thampi Thomas, an advocate-turned-agriculturist, whoadopts very scientific methods in his farming, and executes them with the methodical dedication of amanagement expert, while using the traditional wisdom of our indigenous farming style. He gave up apotentially brilliant career in law and turned to agriculture so that he could make pesticide- andfungicide-free food. He uses goat pellets and chicken poop as fertilizers, does heavy mulching, is ableto harvest paddy to sustain his family and sell the rest, and sells tons of fruits like mangosteen, dragonfruit, etc.
