All the work related to the Miyawaki Model of Afforestation that we have done – experiments undertaken, projects executed, interviews conducted, and ideas promoted – have been meticulously video-documented. The video gallery opens a window to the Miyawaki movement we have initiated in Kerala, and shows the lessons we have learnt as well as continue to learn as we march forward with our green agenda.
Producing and airing our crowdforesting videos has been an overwhelming experience for our team in more ways that one. Our sense of gratification increases in direct proportion to the enthusiastic interest we have been able to whip up among the common public and the forest-lovers alike. Some of their queries merited video replies. Here are some of them.
"Walk the Talk" has been our motto ever since the Miyawaki Afforestation experiments at Puliyarakonam began to give us the first positive results. We have taken up various projects for individuals interested in creating personalized forests, for private companies, and for government institutions. Take a look at the different projects we have initiated - at various stages of development.
In consonance with the Miyawaki afforestation projects that we have initiated, we promote and propagate Nature-friendly practices and lifestyle choices, like constructing low-cost, environment-friendly houses, harnessing green energy, raising indigenous breeds of poultry, fish, cattle, goats, dogs and so on. All these ideas have been tried, tested and found viable before they reach you through these videos.
Besides videos on the Miyawaki Model of Afforestation, we produce videos to greet the public on special occasions (like World Environment Day, World Earth Day, etc.) and to draw collective attention to local and regional issues that affect our natural environment, positively or negatively (like semi- high speed railway lines in Kerala, etc.). View them and ponder over their significance
