In this short video, prepared on the occasion of World Nature Conservation Day (July 28), M. R. Hari shows us a one-year-and-ten-month-old Miyawaki forest put up by Invis Multimedia, Culture Shoppe and Nature’s Green Guardians Foundation in a three-cent plot owned by the Forest Department at Mudikkode in Thrissur district. The sheer size of the trees and the luxuriant growth of all the plants, he feels, should inspire everyone to put up Miyawaki forests in their plots to help conserve Nature, and protect insects from extinction.
