In this video, M. R. Hari summarizes the advice given by Prof. Fujiwara and Prof. Box (both eminent botanists and disciples of Prof. Miyawaki) regarding the number of species to be accommodated in a forest. It may be restricted to 20 evergreen varieties, and care should be taken to avoid creepers and also trees belonging to foreign species. Hari himself prefers more numbers than what they suggest because the climate of Kerala allows such a crowding, and this will help in the creation of arboretums.
