In this video, M. R. Hari speaks about the multiple advantages of using tender coconut husk as mulching material in our gardens and forests. They come for free as they are easily procured from near roadside vendors of tender coconuts, are biodegradable, prevent water from evaporating quickly and thus help retain moisture in the ground, improve the organic content of the soil, and, incidentally, help remove the husk mounds from our roadsides.
